Help Build a Safe Home for a Family in Need

Assalamu Alaikum,

My name is Jahedul Hoque, and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request.

During a recent trip to Bangladesh with my family, we were blessed to meet a kind and generous family who went out of their way to care for us during our stay. Despite facing extreme hardships themselves, they opened their hearts to us in ways that truly touched us. Now, they need our help.

This family of four - a married couple and their two children - are living in dire conditions. Their current home is not only inadequate but unsafe, especially during heavy storms, which are frequent and dangerous in the area. What’s worse, they don’t own the house they live in and could be evicted at any moment, leaving them with nowhere to go.

Their financial struggles have become unbearable. The father is gravely ill and unable to work, leaving the family with no steady source of income. Whatever little they manage to receive is spent on his treatment and basic survival. As a result, their children’s education is suffering.

Their eldest son, Mahir, has already had to stop going to school because the family can’t afford the fees. Their younger daughter, Maisha, is still attending Madrassah, but unless their situation improves, she too will be forced to stop studying. Education is their only hope for a better future, but it’s slipping away from them.

This family’s kindness left a deep impact on us, so me and my little brother, Sayful Hoque, are personally going to donate as much as we can to this cause. We want to give back to a family that has shown us so much warmth and generosity, even in the face of their own struggles.

We also invite you to join us in making a difference. With your support, we can help build a safe, secure home for this family and give their children a chance at a brighter future. A foundation for the house has already been started, but there is still a long way to go to complete it.
