Ffion’s New Wheelchair

Hi my name is Dylan and I am fundraising for my granddaughter Ffion.

Ffion is 13 years old and she has Cerebral Palsy. Unfortunately Ffion has outgrown her wheelchair. Ffion has had her current wheelchair for 5 years and now needs a new one. The problem is, she has been waiting for an NHS wheelchair for over 12 months now already and is uncertain of when she can expect a new one. Also it will be heavy and bulky for her. Ffion was recently measured up for a bespoke Wheelchair by RGK which will cost us around £5000. RGK make lightweight wheelchairs which will give Ffion even more independence. So as a family we have decided to fundraise for this wheelchair which should last her into her adulthood. During 2023 Tîm Ffion will undertake various fundraisers which will conclude with Steph, Alice, Dylan and anyone else who wants to join them in the Cardiff Half Marathon in October.
