Help Our Mama!

Miss Beverly, lovingly known by her friends and family as Bev, Baby, and Mama, is in dire need of our help.

Mama is beloved in the community of Deptford and Westville, NJ. As a widow, Mama made her way in the world by being a core member of Olive Garden, located in Deptford Township, NJ. Mama worked faithfully and tirelessly at Olive Garden for 29 years, touching the lives of many staff members as well as customers. As an unwavering force to be reckon with, Mama has influenced each and every life that has passed through Olive Garden.

Throughout the years of Mama working on her feet, Mama has been experiencing leg pain. In more recent years, Mama has struggled with a limp of her left leg. While pushing through the pain, Mama continued to work her daily shift at Olive Garden. In December of 2024, Mama had to undergo a procedure to expel a blockage from her leg arteries. After the procedure she had hopes of walking limp & pain free, however that was not the case. Mama awoke with low blood pressure, inability to walk, and required to stay at a rehabilitation center rather than in her home.

As Mama has transitioned into not working she has no income to support herself. We are asking for funds to help support Mama’s medical bills that are not covered by insurance and maintaining her bills while she gets back on her feet.
