Eshte koha per te ndihmuar bashkekombasit tane ne Shqiperi ne keto dite te veshtira. Bresheria e termeteve qe ka goditur vendin tone ka lene deme ne jete njerezish, shume te plagosur dhe qindra familje te pastreha.
Ndersa lutjet tona jane me familjet qe kane humbur te afermit e tyre, ndihma jone eshte e vevojshme per familjet qe kane deme materiale dhe kane mungesa te nevojave elementare gjate stines se ftohte te dimrit dhe ne prag te festave te fundvitit. Kohen se kur ndodh tragjedia nuk e kemi ne doren tone por momenti per te dhene ndihme eshte dicka qe e kemi ne dore dhe shpresojme qe ta mundesojme kete.
Shoqata Shqipetaro Amerikane Drita e Arberise eshte shoqate jo fitimprurese e themeluar dhe regjistruar ne Shtetin e Washingtonit ne 2011. Ndonese misioni jone primar eshte mbajtja dhe promovimi i kultures, tradites dhe gjuhes shqipe me qellim qe tja trashegojme brezave te ardhshem te femijeve tane, ky mision ne dite te tilla merr nje kuptim tjeter ne ndihme te bashkekombasve tane ne memedhe.

A deadly earthquake has hit our homeland Albania this morning. The powerful 6.4 followed by over 250 aftershocks, many of them strong, hit near the city of Durres on the West Coast. This same area was hit by similar earthquakes in early September but this time did not withhold causing damage to buildings, 21 dead, over 600 wounded. In these cold days of winter and ahead of the holiday season the timing could not be worst for families to loose their basic necessities and be left out of their homes. While we can not choose where disaster hits, we can however choose when to help.    

Albanian American Association Drita e Arberise - DEA is established in 2011 in the State of Washington as a charitable cultural and educational organization with the purpose of preserving, promoting and advancing the understanding and appreciation of Albanian language, culture and heritage among people of Albanian descent and all interested citizens and residents alike in Washington State. As a non profit organization our mission at times like this focuses on supporting and helping families in need so your help is crucial to accomplish this goal.  
With the hope to collect some found and send them to Albania we are seeking your help and reaching out to you to help with a donation. No donation is too small so please help with anything you can. 

100% of this fund will be send to Albania and used toward the families displaced by the earthquake.

As soon as we receive the deposit from this campaign to the association bank account we will then turn around and write a check for $10,000 by adding some funds from the association and send them to Mr Naci along with the list of each donor. These will be made public on his TV show which air every other night in Albanian national TV. He will help locate a family or two whose needs can be fulfilled by using our $10,000 donation and will also inform us on who the family is so that we can have transparency with our donors here is the Seattle area.
