A group of crew, along with a handful of dedicated fundraisers, are raising money for Ferryside Lifeboat by taking part in the gruelling 109 mile, Cardiff to Tenby, 2026 Carten100 cycle event.

As a small lifesaving charity that operates 2 fully coded Lifeboats, 365 days a year/ 24 hours a day, we depend on donations.

Because we are a small and local charity, we can guarantee that EVERY single penny raised will go DIRECTLY to maintaining this near 200 year old lifesaving resource.

Ferryside Lifeboat is one of more than seventy lifeboat organisations around the British Isles that operate independently of the RNLI. We operate as a ‘declared facility’ within HM Coastguards Search and Rescue organisation, and are launched in response to 999 calls under the control of HM Coastguard.

Ferryside Lifeboat crews are all volunteers, and are on call 365 days a year/ 24 hours a day.

Everyone involved with Ferryside lifeboat, from the boat and launch crews, to our dedicated fundraisers and Trustees, all given their time entirely for free.
