Fernandez Family of 3

As many of you know, Jon and Jamie Fernandez have been excited to bring a child into their lives for quite some time now.  It was a longer road than expected to get pregnant, but they were more than excited to finally get the news that they would become parents. 

    On Friday August 4th, 2018, after Jamie experienced some very unexpected and sudden complications, Micah James Fernandez was delivered via emergency C-section, nearly 10 weeks earlier than his due date.  He weighed 3 lbs. 7 oz.   Of course it was a very scary time, but the good news is that at this point, both Jamie and Micah are safe and getting the best medical attention possible.  

     Micah will need to be cared for 24/7 in the NICU for at least the next month, if not longer.  Jamie and Jon plan to spend as much time by his side as possible.  However, this also means that their original plans for the next two months will have to change.  While Jon will be balancing his work with his time at the hospital, Jamie will spend as much time by Micah's side as possible, as well as recovering from her surgery.

    This GoFundMe was created to help Jon and Jamie with the money that Jamie would have earned in the final two months of her pregnancy. Due to her need to be by Micah's side and recover, she will no longer be able to work for the next two months.  Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated to help this new family as they focus on getting Micah and Jamie as healthy as can be, as soon as possible.  All funds will go directly to helping the Fernandez family buy groceries, cover monthly expenses, and provide any basic necessities or medical support that Micah may need.  Thank you for being a part of the community that loves this family so dearly!!
