Ferguslie Community Market Christmas Appeal 2024!

Ferguslie Community Market, now over four years strong, is a locally-led initiative providing dignified food support to those in need. Coordinated by Darkwood Crew, a Ferguslie Park-based group soon to become a registered charity, this essential, volunteer-run market offers up to £15 worth of groceries—including bakery, meat, pantry items, and fresh and frozen foods—for a nominal fee of £3.50. We also offer an afternoon delivery service for an additional £1.50.

Operating every Thursday at the Tannahill Centre, we welcome anyone from across Renfrewshire facing food insecurity. With the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, we’ve seen demand skyrocket—particularly over the Christmas period when many low-income families are forced to choose between heating and eating.

This year, we’re asking for your support to help us continue meeting these needs. Your donation to our 2024 Christmas Appeal will make a huge difference to families struggling to afford basic essentials.
