We have some exciting news to share with you about a project very close to our hearts called Fencing for a Purpose. Our mission is to make the sport of fencing accessible to everyone, and we're turning to you for support to make our vision a reality.
Fencing for a Purpose is a nonprofit organization founded by three devoted fencers: Theodore Tikhomirov, Alex Wolfe, and Nikhil Khana. We have been passionate about this sport since we were 8 years old and have experienced firsthand both the physical and mental challenges it presents. Fencing requires agility, strategic thinking, and mental strength, making it a truly incredible and unique sport.
Our current initiative involves partnering with the Lone Star Abilities Network, an organization that focuses on spreading awareness about disabilities and providing care for individuals with disabilities. Together, we are organizing a fencing camp specifically designed for children with disabilities. Our aim is to introduce them to the sport in a fun and inclusive way, igniting their interest and allowing them to see whether or not fencing is the sport for them.
However, we cannot achieve our goals without your generous support. Your donation will directly impact the lives of these remarkable children and help us create a lasting impact. For example, a contribution of $50 will allow us to purchase a much-needed fencing jacket, $200 will provide a complete set of equipment, and $750 will cover the venue rental for one of our future camps. Because we are a registered non-profit organization, all donations made to Fencing for a Purpose are tax-deductible.
We believe that our impact should extend beyond this one camp, and we envision a future where we can host more camps, organize equipment drives, and support talented fencers who may lack the financial or training resources to compete at a higher level.
We genuinely appreciate your time and consideration, and we hope that you will join Theodore, Alex, Nikhil, and the rest of our team in making a difference.
Thank you for your support.
