For most people Christmas is a lovely time to spend with family and friends. But for some in Liverpool the reality is very different.
Being homeless is difficult at any time of the year, but Christmas is a particularly challenging and emotional time.
Feminist Fiction Liverpool are passionate about supporting our local community and are raising money for the Whitechapel Centre, who support people experiencing homelessness in the city.
We are raising money to buy some essentials and some Christmas gifts which will be provided to service users over the Christmas period. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and at a time of year which is cold, wet and generally hard for people who don't have a support system, we believe we should be supporting our community in whichever way we can.
Every penny will be spent on items that have been asked for by the charity and any extra bits we can buy for service users to cheer them up this time of year!
Thanks so much,
Sara and Feminist Fiction Liverpool x
