Hello all ,
I’m not really good at asking this ..... on December 23rd something happened to my left ankle , I came home from a game and took my shoe off and it blew up like a balloon. I have been out of work since then as I still can’t Bear weight on the foot .... I have been to 9 doctors and just was released from the hospital after being admitted for almost a week.... From the first time I went to the doctors they told me it was only a sprain, then it progressed to a gout infection, to a possible bruised bone. The conclusion the hospital came up with they said somehow a staph infection settled in my ankle joint. From getting multiple x-rays, multiple MRIs, a CAT scan and also an EKG to make sure the infection did not go to my heart. It’s been a very tough 10 weeks as this has drained me mentally and physically. In the hospital they had to put a picc line coming out of my right bicep because I need to take IV medication three times a day for six weeks. Also in these times I am not able to work. With this picc line I cannot use any crutches as my means of transportations a walker !!! The little bit of money I am getting from short term disability it’s not enough to pay my usual bills and to put food on the table for my family. Now all these medical bills are piling up and different co-pays the insurance doesn’t pay for it’s driving me crazy.  I am not the kind to put my hand out for help, but this has left me with no option right now, as I have to try to do what I can as a Sole provider for my family as my wife is a stay at home mother to our beautiful 2 girls. If there is anything you can do whether it’s a small donation or even try to share this it would be really appreciated !! Thank you so much and God Bless .
