Felix Berkelman's Eagle Project

My name is Felix Berkelman.

I am a member of BSA Troop 104, and for the past few months I have been planning to build a gaga ball pit at Edward Klief Park as my eagle project.

I have gotten both Madison City Parks approval and BSA approval, and I am planning to construct the sides of the pit with a group of scouts from the troop on Sunday, June 11.

Gaga ball is enjoyed by a wide range of ages, and I think this project will be used frequently by kids in the area, students at St. James, and college students from UW Madison.

For those who have been to Edward Klief park recently, you may have seen that the gravel base for the pit has already been put in. The Parks Department has been kind enough to build the base, but I am still tasked with building and paying for the sides.

The combined cost estimates for the lumber, concrete mix, and other materials is roughly $1000. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
