Hi everyone,

My name is Luca and on March 15th, I’ll be running a half marathon to raise funds for an incredibly special cause—helping to build a wheelchair ramp and lift for my friend's brother, Fred.

Fred has X-linked Angelman Syndrome, a rare condition that means he requires 24/7 care from his dedicated parents and full-time carers. Sadly, accessing his own home has become nearly impossible, and without the right adaptations, his family is facing daily struggles just to get him inside safely.

The cost of installing a wheelchair ramp and lift is a staggering £65,000, so I want to raise as much as possible to help Fred’s family cover this life-changing expense.

Fred has been a huge part of my life since he was a baby, and I’ve always wanted to do something meaningful to support him and his incredible family. This fundraiser is my way of showing them they’re not alone.
