gr.ai.ce food drive
Donation protected
While many children in need receive free meals during the school week, weekends can be challenging. In honor of DevRev's gr.ai.ce foundation, during the DevRev user workshop on October 16th, we'll pack bags of food for local students to share with their families on the weekends.
Here's how you can get involved:
- Bring non-perishable food to donate to the Palo Alto office on or before October 16th.
- If you’re not local to the Bay Area (or are short on time), you can donate money to purchase non-perishable food for the food drive through this GoFundMe. All donations should be submitted by October 14th so we can use these funds to supplement the donated food items.
What types of food can be donated?
- Protein-rich foods: Canned meats, chicken, turkey, and seafood
- Vegetables: Canned vegetables and vegetable juices
- Fruits: Canned fruits and fruit juices
- Grains: Ready-to-eat cereal, crackers, pretzels, and whole grains like quinoa and spelt
- Milk: Canned, boxed, or dried milk, or shelf-stable milk alternatives like soy, almond, or rice
- Dried foods: Dried fruits, nuts, and trail mixes
- Other: Soup, peanut butter, jelly, honey, pancake mix, syrup, vegetable oil, rice, lentils, dried beans, dried pasta, noodles, oats, and beef jerky
Thank you for helping DevRev make a difference for Santa Clara County students and ensuring these young minds have the nourishment they need to thrive.
