FEED THE STREETS (NOVEMBER EDITION)

Feed The Streets is an intiative created by The Walker Foundation that uses donated funds to prepare and distribute hot hearty meals to those experiencing houselessness in Downtown Calgary.
Funds go towards the following items:
- preparatory items: utensils, reusable bags, note cards with personalized affirmation messages
- snacks: variety of snacks Ike chips, side of bread, vegetables
- drinks: variety of water, juice, pop
- ingredients: chicken, potatoes, seasonal vegetables
- desserts: cookies, cakes
We provide our community with various options to choose from in hopes to provide them with the chance to have options for their meals.
Our volunteers are trained prior to heading out for outreach to ensure we are communicating a positively affecting our community.
