With recent cuts to SNAP and EBT benefits, many people have lost access to the funds that provided their families with Thanksgiving dinner every year. Approximately 2.9 million New Yorkers rely on these programs for their daily food, and almost 1.8 million people are currently at risk of losing access to their benefits.

This year, we are stepping in to provide our community and anyone in need with a home-cooked, fresh, organic meal on Thanksgiving. In collaboration with WITH US NYC, MJ Cafe, and Sweet Chick, we will be handing out full turkey plates in the surrounding Lower East Side area as well as delivering boxes of to-go meals to volunteers who would like to give out food within their neighborhood.

Your donation helps us secure the necessary ingredients to cook dinner as well as courier meals to volunteers who will distribute them to recipients within Manhattan and Brooklyn. We aim to feed over 500 people, and your support will guarantee that these meals land in the hands of those who need it.
