Hello, my name is Marlin Deng, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep sense of responsibility. As someone with personal ties to the region, I have witnessed the pain, loss, and devastation experienced by families in Africa who have been displaced due to war, violence, and political instability.
Many of these families—men, women, and innocent children—have been forced to flee their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They are now scattered across neighboring countries and refugee camps, often without access to basic necessities like food, clean water, shelter, medical care, and education. These are not just numbers—they are people with dreams, talents, and families who simply want to survive and live in peace.
Over the past months, I have been working tirelessly to send aid and provide support directly to displaced families through trusted local contacts and community-led initiatives. We’ve helped deliver food baskets, hygiene supplies, clothing, and even tuition support for young children trying to continue their education despite unimaginable hardship.
But I can’t do this alone.
This fundraiser is about hope, dignity, and humanity. With your donation, no matter how big or small, you will be helping to:
• Provide emergency food and clean water to families in crisis
• Distribute clothing and hygiene supplies to those living in displacement camps
• Support children’s education and give them a chance at a brighter future
• Help cover medical care for those who are sick or injured
• Restore a sense of normalcy and hope in a time of darkness
Every dollar raised will go directly toward aid efforts. I will continue to document and share updates so you can see the real lives being impacted by your generosity.
This is more than just a fundraiser. It’s a lifeline.
Please stand with us. Share this campaign, donate if you can, and help give these families a fighting chance.
With deep gratitude,
Marlin Deng
