At Single in Christ, we believe the Gospel is demonstrated not only through our words, but through our actions. Jesus consistently met people where they were, offering both compassion and practical care. Inspired by His example, we are launching a weekly outreach to serve our neighbors experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in downtown Bridgeport.
Every Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, our volunteers will provide a fresh, hot meal on State Street in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Our prayer is that each person who comes will receive more than food. We want them to experience dignity, kindness, hope, and the love of Christ.
Your generosity makes this mission possible. Every donation helps provide:
- Fresh ingredients for hot meals
- Bottled water and beverages
- Disposable plates, utensils, and serving supplies
- Napkins, gloves, and food-safe supplies
- Essential items that allow us to serve with excellence and care
