WHO AM I:
I'm Lauren Hoheusle. I'm the founders of Chakra Bowls, located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Our mission is to provide health and wellness to our community. Now more than ever, it is critical that we focus on this as a collective unit. Our health care workers are graciously and whole-heartedly putting themselves on the front line every day during this pandemic. It's now our turn to help bring a little sunshine, and much needed nourishment to their long, stressful days. Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise funds to FEED THE FRONTLINE!
WHAT'S #FEEDTHEFRONTLINE ALL ABOUT + HOW YOU CAN HELP
Please join us at any level – we know many families are suffering economically and any amount is meaningful! Please consider feeding our healthcare workers at whatever level you can. Every dollar matters!
· $20 = the cost for lunch/dinner, feeding 2 healthcare heroes
· $100 = the cost for lunch /dinner, feeding 10 healthcare heroes
We will be providing our superfood salads, smoothie bowls, and smoothies as our meal options for first responders.
YOUR DONATION:
Every $10 you donate directly provides a smoothie bowl or superfood salad, smoothie and coffee to feed Vassar Brothers Medical Center and Mid-Hudson Region Hospital workers, civil servants, police, fire, and other essential workers who are out on the frontline.
The food will be delivered to appropriate organizations beginning Monday, April 20, 2020, and we will continue to do so until the funds have been fully depleted. We will of course keep you all updated on the progress on social media--be sure to check back to see who we are able to collectively help!
