Each November, while many are at home with family enjoying Thanksgiving dinner, our Public Safety officers are at the station or on the road helping keep our communities safe. In 2018 at the impetus of my wife, we arranged to provide fully catered meals to the Oak Park and Southfield departments. Over the years, with your help, we expanded the program to include additional local departments.

Interestingly, while in conversation with a local Police Chief, he mentioned that this program fits perfectly with the moral values of the Jewish community and how grateful he was that, especially in these times, there are those who truly appreciate our officers and the sacrifices they make. Aside from the intentional hakoras hatov aspect, this conversation led me to fully appreciate the tremendous kiddush hashem that you help achieve.
