Feed the Family of Daily Wager

As the crisis around the Covid-19 pandemic grows, the livelihoods of a large number of families surviving on daily wages have been shaken up due to the lockdown in India.  We have initiated the ‘Feed the Family of Daily Wager’ program to provide food support to such families and to help them have a reliable supply of meals in the absence of employment opportunities.

Support 1 Family : By donating 10€ (equivalent to 800₹)

Support 3 Family : By donating 30€ (equivalent to 2400₹)

Support 5 Family : By donating 50€ (equivalent to 4000₹)


How will your donations be used?
 
Each meal kit (for a family of 4) contains a combination of wheat flour 2kg, rice 2kg and two types of pulses and other essential stuffs that can be used to cook meals for the family for a week. Each kit for a family costs Rs. 800 or 10€.

Once you select an amount to donate, all proceeds will be used in procuring and distributing meal kits to families of daily wage earners living in and Delhi and Bihar.
 
We have our volunteers on ground to help ensure responsible distribution of these kits while adhering to social distancing guidelines. 

This is a 100% not for profit campaign, and we will disclose the use of proceeds in a financial transparency report sent to all contributors to the campaign

Bhavishya e.V. is registered  charitable organization and has received 100% tax certificates from finanzamt in Frankfurt and your contributions are fully tax-deductible in Germany.

Who will benefit from the fund:


There are hundreds of thousand poor people migrated from villages (mainly from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand)to capital city Delhi and work as daily wagers. They are involved in different type of temporary works without any security such as rickshaw puller, auto riksha driver, work on construction sites, as maid to other people houses etc. Now that India is in lockdown state all the activities are put on hold and because of that these people are not getting any money to survive their life. Most of them don't have any house in Delhi to live they used to sleep on the road or under flyover in the night. Because of the lockdown situation they are not allowed to live in open public places and hence they are walking hundreds of kilometer along with family including kids to go back to their village.


Through your support we will provide food needs and help them reach to safe shelter.
