The Shack gives back after Ian
Donation protected
The Shack of Sanibel was opened in May, 2021 by Chuck and Lisa Whitman, with the purpose to serve fresh frozen custard in a pleasant environment. We are raising funds to provide free food and beverage to all those working to rebuild. My name is Hana St. Gean, and I am a manager at The Shack of Sanibel. Hurricane Ian caused massive destruction to Sanibel, difficult to even describe. The Shack sustained minimal damage, is still standing strong and in a position to help others. Once power and water are restored, it is important to us that we can give back; we would like to offer free food, drinks, custard--whatever we have available. Your donations will completely go toward the purchase of food, drinks and food-service supplies as we serve our community. We want to support this effort to rebuild and would love to partner with you! ALL of these proceeds will go toward providing hot food, fresh food, cold drinks, and desserts for residents, volunteers and workers on the island as they work and await basic services like power, water, debris removal to be completed. We appreciate your support of The Shack! We also are grateful for all our crew and customers. Please contact us with any questions!
