Feed Orphaned kids and Poor Families in Hargeisa

As-Salaamu Alaykum everyone,

As we know Ramadan is rapidly approaching and is around the corner. To my Muslim brothers and sisters, start off your Ramadan strong by helping to support young Orphaned kids and poor families located in one of the poorest districts of Hargeisa, Xaafada Daami.

In the picture above, we have our Somali brother Yaqub. He is both motherless and fatherless living in the slums of Daami with very little to almost no support.

We have collected the names of 100 families the majority being kids that are motherless or fatherless and are unable to support themselves. As well as physically disabled elderly folk that have no support.

We are working to supply the families with Rice, Sugar, Flour, Oil, Milk and Dates to sustain them throughout the month.

We already know how vast the rewards of Ramadan is, so I encourage our fellow Muslims to strive to do more good this Ramadan.

Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

"Whoever provides the food for a fasting person to break his fast with, then for him is the same reward as his (the fasting person's), without anything being diminished from the reward of the fasting person." - Sahih Tirmidhi 807

May Allah reward you for your efforts and may all our fasts be accepted this Ramadan. Ameen.
