As Covid 19 continues to wreak havoc around the world, The Gambia is no exception. In the past week, we have seen an alarming spike in the number of cases in our motherland, The Gambia. Our healthcare personnel are needed now more than before. Most of us have seen the pictures currently circulating on the meals provided to these heroes who risk their lives every day to keep us safe and healthy in these trying times. We have also independently confirmed the authenticity of the pictures.
The funds raised will be used to cater nourishing, hearty daily meals for our frontline doctors and nurses. The current goal is to provide at least one nourishing meal a day, to complement what they are currently being fed for at least the next five months.
