Feed A Family Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)3 charitable organization whose mission is to provide Thanksgiving dinners to needy families. We have no overhead expenses, thus 100% of money donated goes to the cause. In order to raise funds to purchase these dinners, we need your help! Please help us reach our goal!
Feed A Family Foundation, Inc., is operated by CEO, Ameigh Verderosa Worley, and President/Co-Founder, Mandi Verderosa. They work with a team of dedicated volunteers including business professionals, healthcare providers, and high school students to provide Thanksgiving dinners to needy families.
Feed a Family was founded in 2003 out of a desire to reach out to families and provide them with the simple pleasure of enjoying a Thanksgiving dinner. What began as a small gift of 3-5 family dinners per year, has developed into a community-wide effort with proceeds from annual fundraisers providing hundreds of families with holiday blessings each year.
Annually, the Feed A Family Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors selects several local recipients of our program. All of the proceeds are used to purchase Thanksgiving dinners. Working together with Publix Super Markets, Inc., the holiday dinners are prepared and boxed for pick up where the family can enjoy it at home. The meal consists of a complete and fully cooked Thanksgiving Dinner.
