My name is Amir, and every Ramadan we organise hot Iftar meals for refugees and vulnerable families living in temporary accommodation across Manchester.

This year, we have been asked to support residents in two refugee accommodation hotels, providing meals three days every week throughout Ramadan.

There are around 300 residents living in these hotels, many of them families with children who are far from home and have very limited support.

Our goal is to provide regular Iftar meals and Suhoor packs to help them observe Ramadan with dignity and comfort.

Over the month of Ramadan, we aim to provide 3,600 Iftar & Suhoor meal packages.

£7 feeds one fasting person for a full day (Iftar + Suhoor).
