FDNY To The Rescue In The War Against COVID-19

Noah Mueller and the rest of FDNY are being dispatched daily to respond to COVID-19 house call cases. Many of these individuals are fighting for their last breath and require CPR. It is an unprecedented calling and first responders are risking infection of the deadly virus with limited personal protection equipment available. It is no surprise, Noah and the FDNY, are seizing the opportunity to save lives, regardless of the extreme conditions of this pandemic.

A couple years ago, I remember asking Noah to share a hero story from his 10+ years as a NYC firefighter. True to the firehouse culture, he refused to accept recognition of heroism and instinctually responded with a sarcastic story about saving a cat. Firefighters run towards danger which is an admirable testament to these brave Frontliners during this pandemic.

Mahera and I would like to collaborate with the community on a fundraiser where all contributions go to Noah's firehouse "nosh fund" (firehouse meals supported by local business) and to the Fire Family Transport Foundation . Let's show these heroes how much we appreciate and respect their dedication to this battle.

We also applaud, Noah's wife Ally and Mother of 3, for her role on the "Backline" keeping it all together at home. 

Now more than ever, the world is desperate for good deeds and we should be the catalyst to motivate each other so it happens exponentially.
