Family in need

Hi everyone, last night my son Dan & his partner Rebecca lost everything in a house fire. All they have is literally the clothes on their back, all they were allowed to take from the house was the baby’s medication. Leo, my grandson, is nearly 4mths old & was born with a rare condition & has to take medication daily.

from the initial assessment, the fire brigade thinks the fire was caused by Christmas tree lights. 

Unfortunately they didn’t have contents insurance so everything will need to be replaced. We as a family are doing everything we can to help, but as you can imagine the cost to replace a whole house plus baby items, pram cot etc is going to be high. Their dog Zeus is currently at the emergency vet receiving treatment & so far the vet bill alone is upward of £2000 They don’t know I’ve set this page up yet but now isn’t a time to let pride get in the way. I know the cost of living crisis affects us all & things are hard for a lot right now & Xmas is coming up, but We would all be extremely grateful for any donation made no matter the amount or if you’re unable to donate sharing this page would be greatly appreciated. We would also be extremely grateful if anyone has any baby boy stuff they could spare. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.

Update:

Unfortunately as hard as he tried, the smoke inhalation was just too much for Zeus, the vets did everything they could but the decision had to be made to have him put to sleep. As you can imagine, it’s just another devastating blow for the family.
