Hello Friends and Family and for those who do not know me yet. My name is Robert Vitela, and I am organizing this fundraiser to provide efficient blankets for our homeless community here in Hollywood. A peaceful night's sleep is an essential tool for our mental, emotional, and physical health. That is why we are encouraging and urging you all to help us raise $2,000 to provide comfort and warmth to 160 homeless locals with a blanket for love.
We all have that one blanket that keeps us warm during winters most cold and harshest nights, and I am sure that we all agree every human deserves this basic necessity. The blankets that are being purchased are military-grade that is made with 80% wool and is large enough to use alone or with another person. The great thing about wool is that even when wet, it continues to keep you warm. Raising money for blankets is the first step of the process; once we raise funds, we will gather our peers, and we will distribute the blankets to all of the Hollywood districts.
It has been a challenging and tough year for all of us, and I know that giving back to those even less fortunate is an incredible feeling. By partnering with Ever Ready First Aid, we can share the gift of warmth this winter by warming someone’s heart.
