Hello, we are Claire & Sue, chosen family with the wonderful Mills family.

On 21st December the unthinkable happened, Matt passed away after an acute asthma attack at the young age of 23.

To see and feel the utter devastation not only with direct family, friends and work colleagues, but Matt's fellow volunteers and our own family and friends. We have an enormous feeling of uselessness and desperately want to be able to help the family in any way we can.

Flowers are a lovely way of showing we care and are thinking of them, however, they are currently overwhelmed with flowers. We want to give something that will help the Mills family over the next few weeks/months and something that will give them comfort moving forward. We thought any money raised from a funding page (this is separate from the funeral donations page) can be used however the family feel best, we know they would like to donate to Cancer Research Shop in Bromsgrove where Matt volunteered every Saturday since he was 15.

We will ensure Nikki, Brian, Charlotte & Lucy have access to all of the messages left on this page, as I am sure they will be of great comfort to them moving forward.

Hello,

We wanted to share Matthews funeral arrangements.

To be held at Waseley Hills Crematorium on the 19th January 2023.

It will start at 12 Noon, so please be there for 11:45 am.

The wake, will be held straight after the service at Aston Fields Social Club (on Stoke Road).

Moreover, Matts favourite colour was Orange so if you could incorporate that into your outfit it would be lovely, other than that there is no particular dress code.

We would really appreciate if you could message one of us privately, if you/family would like to attend, just so we are aware of numbers.

Anybody who knew Matthew is more than welcome to come, we want a celebration of his wonderful life.
