Most of us know Jeffrey Ainis and our lives have been touched by his sincerity and warmth. For those who don't, Jeffrey is a writer/editor/musician and a long-term volunteer with the Art of Living Foundation. As an integral member of the Art of Living community for over 3 decades, he has worked tirelessly on events and programs spreading this beautiful knowledge in innumerable ways.
Jeffrey was diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer some time ago and was informed after surgery that the cancer was Stage 4, which meant that it had spread beyond the prostate. They hoped that they had gotten the outside cancer too. He followed standard protocol to keep it at bay and also did immunotherapy. But recently, tumors were discovered on the bone and lymph nodes. Jeffrey is basically a healthy and health conscious person, and we are hopeful that he will respond to new treatment. Jeffrey is now undergoing accelerated conventional treatment with his oncologist, along with alternative treatments like homeopathy and Chinese medicine (and possibly a form of Rife Frequency Water Therapy. Participants are having amazing results).
With the support of his oncologist, Jeffrey hopes to do a specialized Cytotron therapy, which kills cancer cells but leaves the healthy cells intact. The FDA has called it a breakthrough device, and in countries where it passed the clinical trials, the response rate appears very robust. It is not yet FDA approved in the U.S., so it will not be covered by medical insurance. We expect this treatment (currently available in India and Mexico) and companion treatment to cost up to $25,000, including travel/room/board.
