Over the past three and a half years, the challenges of the pandemic and its financial repercussions have significantly affected Will's family. Compelled by the desire to be closer to his son, Will now finds it necessary to move from the US, to Berlin, Germany, which offers the best opportunity for their success.

I have recently decided that I need to transition my life to Berlin, Germany. This decision is deeply rooted in the hope of reconnecting with my son. The past four years have felt longer, widened by our family’s isolation caused by the pandemic. A tumultuous time for so many of us, William and I lost precious time together, and our influence in each other’s lives has diminished.

I love being a father; my son is the living embodiment of my heart and soul. As a child from a single-parent home, I’m acutely familiar with the challenges he’ll face if I’m not there. The only choice I have is to bridge the divide that’s been placed upon us. This move, at its heart, is about coming together again as a family, to begin healing and sharing our lives more closely.

With the decision made, I’ve developed a plan to achieve this goal. One that requires a considerable amount of money to bring to fruition. I’m coming to you now with a sincere and urgent petition for help. I’m humbled to find myself in this difficult and vulnerable position. However, I am unable to make this transition without the support of family and friends.

I’ve spent my life bringing enjoyment and affirmation to others through music, art, and connection. I actively work to help others grow and find their strength, to refine their skills to support their instincts. Now more than ever, I need to provide my strength, love and support to my son.

I’m not asking for charity, I’m asking for you to believe in me as a friend and father. I'm asking you to believe in my work as a musician and photographer. Believe in my tenacity and determination to succeed. Believe in the all the possibilities of the future for both my son and I once we are reunited.

In support of this transition, I’m offering my services, participation in fundraisers, networking, and more. I have faith that our community will help my family achieve our goals. Please do not feel burdened by my request; words of affirmation and your love are enough.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be making a series of trips to Colorado, New York, and Utah to raise the money needed and to say goodbyes. I would love to see as many of you as possible in each of these places before I go.
