Father wanting to stay in sons life

Jeff Nelson is beyond a best friend to me, he is my brother. I am not alone in that sentiment.  I can't count how many peoples lives he has made better through his laughter, compassion, selflessness, and most importantly friendship. He truly is a person that will have your back through anything. The love he has shown me and his other friends & family pales in comparison to the love he has for his son Brogan. 

I would like to make it known right away that this is not a smear campaign against the mother of Brogan. While I don't agree with what is happening, I would never try to belittle the love she has for him. The situation is, she has made the choice to move 700 miles away leaving the home Brogan knows where his friends, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and most importantly father all reside. 

Jeff has custody mediation on April 19th. Jeff is currently attending Christ college of nursing and health sciences. He is several years in and is less than one from getting his degree. While he's done this for the betterment of Brogans future, he has incurred student debt and loans making it hard for him to hire legal representation. 

Jeff doesn't know I am doing this. I am not alone in this action, talking with another best friend (Chris Profitt) we knew something needed to be done to help Jeff fight for the right to be in his sons life full time. We are asking for help to fund Jeff a attorney. Speaking to him before about this he said he would need $2500 to get help. With GoFundMe's take on this I set it to $3000 to make sure Jeff gets what he needs.

Brogan is Jeff Nelson's world. While its common to see a smile on his face, its never bigger than when he is with his son. It has broken mine and several others heart to know that it could be taken away from him. Please help us give Jeff a fighting chance.
