One of the hardest times to say goodbye, is when you didn't know you would have to... Brother Phillip Adams was a friend and brother to many, a man committed to self change as well as communal change. We as a community that knew, loved and were impacted by 'Phil' one way or another are faced with the challenge to bid him farewell from this place of labor to the place that we call reward. His transition has come as a shock to many of his family and friends. We endeavor to pull together as a village to assist the Adam's family with sending Phil home properly with honor and respect. We ask for your financial support in this endeavor to lighten the load and make the transitional home-going one that is memorable and peaceful.

In most recent years Phil had begun to make a life in the DMV. Finding his faith in GOD and planting his spiritual flag at Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church where he worked and served his local church in DC along side some lifelong friends. Phil became a vital asset to the ministry and could be seen serving from the front desk, the back door or driving the bus. He had a servant heart and was never ashamed to serve God and the people of God in whatever capacity needed. He was never without a praise in his feet, his hands or on his lips. His story was one that was rich and he didn't mind sharing it. He had the opportunity to write and share his story in a published writing called "Faith For Fiery Trials Vol. II" presented by Nicole Mason.

Help us as we plan to lay a great man to rest and celebrate a life that was transformed and left many of us transformed in return.

He will be sorely missed, but NEVER forgotten.
