Farewell 519
Spende geschützt
Our house, like so many others in the Palisades, burned to the ground last night.
To those who know my family, you'll remember our open-door policy—our home was often called the "Australian embassy," always ready to offer a meal, a few drinks, or a place to stay, both for friends near and far… and often even strangers.
One of my most cherished possessions I lost in the fire was a guest book I've kept since arriving in the US in 2005, filled with everyone's memories. If you can share any stories or fond recollections from times spent in our home on Frontera, it would truly warm our hearts.
That house held my life—my memories, the place my kids grew up. As I begin restarting from scratch, any donation you are comfortable offering us would mean so much. Your help, in any form, means more than we can say. Thank you for being part of our journey to start anew.
