Hi! Mi name is Darina.

Two days ago, our close family friends lost their home in a devastating fire caused by a gas leak. In a matter of minutes, everything they owned was gone. While we are incredibly grateful that the family survived, they are now facing the unimaginable—starting over with nothing.

They are a young family with two little girls, ages 6 and 3. The father is an active-duty Marine Corps officer, and the mother is now recovering from emergency appendicitis surgery that took place the morning after the fire. Yes. No break for her. As they cope with trauma, medical recovery, and the uncertainty of housing and insurance, they are in immediate need of basic necessities.

I am a family friend organizing this fundraiser to help support them during this overwhelming time. Donations will help cover essentials like clothing, food, and temporary living needs while they work to rebuild.
