Family struggling through Covid
Hello everyone. Not really sure how to word this, as I have never tried to ask for handouts like this, but covid has been making things even more of a struggle than usual for my family and I am hoping some people out there a bit better off might be willing to help us out.
For quite a while we have been doing various gig services since it pays better than any other jobs we are qualified for and even working overtime with most retail jobs wouldnt pay all the bills properly. With covid though, we have been making very little and its quickly becoming an issue.
We are several months back on rent (been paying half), keep getting the car loan pushed back further, and were able to keep a few others under control until more recently when things like that stopped being available as much since things are opening back up somewhat. Since its still so bad though, nothing had picked up on our end again.
We have still been making more than we would as a stocker or bagger somewhere, but with a family of 4 its not enough to keep us afloat. Apartments are fairly expensive around (1200+ for 2bd under 900sqft) here and even looking 2 or 3 hours away we have not been able to find anything 2 bedroom that would be cheaper than now.
Once the kids (3 and 4) are back in school there will be time for both of us to work instead of just one of us, but in the mean time we could really use the help. Thank you for reading this far, and for possibly deciding to help out my family. Have a nice day.
