Family on hardtimes in Chicago

Hello, I am Illinois State Representative La Shawn K. Ford; this story exemplifies a family hitting hard times in America. The mom had a stable home, and her father, brother, and sister died within a few months. Her mother passed away, too. Her father was beaten by three men at a Chicago Public School while picking up the grandkids and died days later. He was protecting his grandchildren. The family needs a place to stay, and the children need to enroll in school and have all the stuff children need to have a chance at success. This is a great family. The father works; getting out of the struggle is demanding. Let's help them.
