No one thinks they’re going to start their day with an Emergency… but sometimes that’s just what happens. Thursday, 6/30 @ 8am, my daughter Jora and her three (3) babies escaped a house FIRE! Her husband was at work, and the dogs had been let outside just before the fire began. Everyone got OUT– everyone is OK – even the DOGS. Yet, this young family of 5 LOST just about everything – clothes, shoes, food, beds, books, memories, toys, shelter…You name it, it is now GONE! Unfortunately, they did not have insurance.

Yesterday morning was a scare of a lifetime. We are thankful that my daughter and her babies (Wesley @ 6.5 yrs, Leighona @ 4.5 yrs, and Lowell @ 13 months) are OK because that matters most! Now the uphill battle begins, however. Your donations will help them rebuild their lives, find a rental and buy those things needed when starting over, and every gift is immensely appreciated!
