Family lost everything in Hurricane Ian

Hi, my name is Shannon D'Orsi I live in MA and my beloved sister Sasha Greto and her family lost everything in Hurricane Ian.

Sasha is located in North Port, which saw some of the most devastating destruction from the hurricane. Sasha and her family live on a canal and the water decimated her home and it is now 100% uninhabitable. She also lost her vehicle. Sasha and her husband have an 10-year-old daughter named Luci, two dogs, and a goldfish that are all displaced. All of their personal belongings including clothes, appliances, and personal mementos are gone. Because my sister works for a non-profit she does not have access to benefits. I am starting this fundraiser so that I can get my sister and her family immediate access to purchase things like food, clothing, lodging, and hopefully funds to start rebuilding their entire life. I realize this is just one story in a thousand but my sister has faced insurmountable hardship in her life and has spent the last 8 years building a life for her family in Florida, including working for almost a decade to save the money to purchase her home. It is inconceivable that she should lose the very thing that she has spent 1/3 of her life working towards. Because she is not in a "flood zone" there was no flood insurance which further complicates the issue.
