My name is Robert, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and great humility. Ever since my fiancé Beata was almost killed in a devastating car accident back in February 2024, our lives have been turned completely upside down. She was hit by a careless inexperienced driver and 100% not at fault for the accident.

That day changed everything. We went from having stability and hope for the future to facing trauma, uncertainty, and a long road of physical and emotional recovery. While my fiancé survived, the injuries were severe, and the recovery process has been grueling. She has not been able to return to work, and I’ve been doing everything I can to keep us afloat financially—while also being a full-time caregiver.

Despite our best efforts, we’ve fallen behind on rent and other bills every single month since the accident. Now, we’re in serious financial trouble.

Beata and I have done everything humanly possible financially to survive. In addition to exhausting both of our savings, Beata was forced to sell almost every one of her valuable possessions, including jewelry and designer handbags, for pennies on the dollar. We have sold a car, and I was forced to sell my prized Conn 4H trombone from 1950. We are literally starting from the bottom.

Even more critical is Beata’s urgently needed dental reconstructive surgery. Her situation also requires full arch remote anchorage / zygomatic implants. This is medically necessary, as she has severe issues which require immediate attention. Unfortunately, her insurance does not cover dental implants, deeming them “cosmetic”.

We are not the type of people to ask for help like this, but right now, we are out of options. Any donation—no matter how small—would mean the world to us. If you’re unable to give, we completely understand. But please consider sharing our story with others who might be able to help.

These funds will be allocated for Beata’s medical and dental treatments, including her urgent and immediate need for her dental reconstructive surgery. It will also help to cover the purchase of a car, and to catch up on unpaid bills.
