Hi, my name is Meghan Seligman and I'm creating a fundraiser for my dad, Brandon Seligman. Brandon has gone through many different heart issues in his life these past years. It started in 2011 when he had a heart attack, had stints placed in his arteries, and then coding that night due to another heart attack that evening. Many years passed after this occurrence and he was doing much better, but then in 2018, he had a triple bypass due to three of his arteries being 90% clogged. After spending two weeks in the hospital he was able to go home with a long recovery ahead of him. And now, just five short years later in 2023, he ended up in the hospital again for over a week and had to get two stints placed in the same artery. His doctor also informed him that his triple bypass failed him, one of his grafts is gone, and the right side of his heart is not getting enough oxygen due to the bottom artery not functioning and therefore his heart isn't getting the oxygen it needs to function properly. The doctors said there is nothing they can due to fix this issue at the time, and because he doesn't have a fully functioning heart, he needs to take it easy and rest, this means he can't work. Due to him not being able to work, the house will now have very little income.
