Recently homeless family in need of furniture

Hello, I’m a 5th grader in Kirkland, WA and I love to help people. I’m fundraising for the Make-A-Home program (https://www.marysplaceseattle.org/makeahome) from Mary’s place. This program helps families who have recently found a new house or apartment, but lack the basic essentials like a bed for every member of the family, a kitchen table, chairs, a sofa, etc.

My goal is to change someone’s life and help people in need, because it brings me joy. I have signed up to sponsor a family in the Seattle area, and I hope you can help by donating to my GoFundMe page. We are raising money to buy all the basic necessities, or if you have any furniture that is in top condition, or maybe unused gift cards you could donate, please reach out to us.

Mary’s place is an organization that helps homeless people find a warm place to stay. I am helping a 25yr old Mom, 25yr old Dad, and two boys ages 7 and 4 months. They are currently in a 2-bedroom home with no furniture. The whole family is sleeping on the floor with a blanket. I am raising money to help turn their house into a home.

My goal is to raise $5000, so my Dad and me can find good deals on new or used furniture that will help this family have a better life together and make memories.
