Family in desperate need of a new home

Hi my name is Claire Michaels. I am fundraising for a family in need in Red Bank, Belize. This beautiful family has seven children. The father works 12 hours a day on a local banana farm making $2.00 per hour. This is not enough to provide for his family. The mother who is full time caring for the children is not able to work outside her home. Their modest one room home is in grave disrepair. The rain pours in through the roof almost daily, the children are sleeping on a mud floor. These conditions are unsanitary and contributing to illness. They would be so grateful for our help to provide a new simple thatched roof and wood slate home with a raised cement floor with two small bedrooms and a cooking station. The cost of this project will be approximately $5000
