Hey friends and family!

This is really difficult for me to share, as I’ve never been very good about asking for help. But, Ben and I are facing a really difficult situation.

Last night, Newt was admitted to the ER due to a severe blockage. After doing further diagnostics, the doctors confirmed that this blockage was caused by a condition known as Megacolon. They are currently working round the clock trying to relieve him of this blockage; however, costs are quickly adding up - up to $8000 in total is expected so far.

On top of this, Newt was at the ER earlier this year due to his Polycystic Kidney Disease, which already cost us $6k. Not to mention, as some of you may know, his brother Baker managed to sustain a leg injury recently, which he will need surgery for soon. To make matters worse though, Ben will be undergoing brain surgery this upcoming Tuesday to remove an AVM from his left frontal lobe.

So, needless to say, we are quite overwhelmed and trying everything we can to keep afloat. That being said, we could really use some help from you all, if you’re able to contribute anything. Even just a little would mean the absolute world to us!
