Family in Crisis: Both Parents Need Transplants

My name is Delgermurun Gombojav, and my husband, Otgonbaatar Jigjidsuren, and I are the proud parents of our 11-year-old son. Today, I am writing to ask for your help during the most difficult time our family has ever faced.

In October 2024, my husband was diagnosed with end-stage liver cirrhosis. His liver has completely stopped functioning, and he urgently needs a transplant to survive. His condition is critical—his abdomen is constantly filling with fluid, and he is in pain every day. In November, his health deteriorated even further, and he was hospitalized for two months at the VA hospital.

Since then, I have been his full-time caregiver. But I, too, am battling life-threatening health issues. I’ve been diagnosed with decompensated liver cirrhosis and also require a liver transplant. On top of this, I suffer from heart complications and asthma, which make daily life extremely difficult.

Neither of us is able to work due to our illnesses, and we are doing our best to care for each other and our young son, who needs us more than ever. The emotional, physical, and financial strain we are under is overwhelming.

We are humbly asking for your support. Any contribution—no matter how small—would mean the world to us. All donations will go directly toward essential living expenses, overdue rent, medical bills, and restoring basic utilities — we currently have no gas at home.
