On May 10th, our lives changed in an instant when the home we were renting caught fire. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, including our pets, but we have lost our home and many of our belongings. Right now, we are staying temporarily with family, but it is only a short-term solution while we try to figure out our next steps. On top of rebuilding after this devastating loss, we are also caring for my Nana with dementia and need a safe place asap. Because we did not have renters insurance, we are starting over with very little.

We are asking for help to cover immediate necessities such as temporary housing, clothing, food, medications, hygiene items, replacing essential household items, while we search for more permanent housing. This has been one of the hardest days of our lives, but we are incredibly grateful that we are all alive and safe. Any donation, share, or kind message means more to us than we can express right now.
