This home has never been just a house.

My father built my childhood home to last. My mother, a social worker, creator of restorative justice programs and foster care provider, made it a refuge. Through her, this space held people through some of life's hardest transitions. After her passing, I've been holding both the weight of losing her and the substance and opportunity of what this place means.

That clarity led me here: rather than let this home become another loss, I am letting its legacy and hers thrive by converting it into transitional housing for women and children seeking shelter from domestic violence situations. A space that offers safety, dignity, and the chance to begin again.

Funds will go directly toward:

*Essential repairs and updates

*Preparing the space to serve as transitional living

This is personal — but it's bigger than me. It's about preserving a place that already offered care and safety, and making sure it continues to do so for women and children who need it most.
