“Family Hardship. Help Us Heal and Rebuild”

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

Life has thrown our family more challenges than we could have ever imagined in such a short time. We’re reaching out to you, humbled and hopeful, during one of the most difficult periods of our lives.

In the past several months, our family has been hit with one hardship after another. Marcos underwent major back surgery, which has left him unable to work as he faces a slow and painful recovery. While we are grateful for the success of the surgery, the financial strain of medical bills and lost income has been overwhelming.

On top of this, my mother has been struggling deeply with her mental health. Her condition has reached a point where she requires significant care and support, further stretching us both emotionally and financially. It’s been heartbreaking to see someone we love so much facing such a hard battle.

Then, in September, I was involved in a serious accident. The physical pain and recovery have been incredibly hard, especially as I care for our newborn baby. What should be a joyful and precious time with my child has instead been filled with pain, stress, and uncertainty.

The combination of these events has left us reeling, emotionally drained, and financially strained. We’re trying to stay strong for each other and for our baby, but we can’t do this alone.
