My name is Leslie, husband and a dad of two sons.

Every day, I see what it means to be a parent — the long hours, the quiet sacrifices, the constant responsibility. And I know I’m not alone. All around us, moms and dads are doing their very best for their families. They give their time, their energy, and their love — often without recognition, often without rest.

Their efforts may go unseen, but their impact is everything.

That’s why I started the Family First Project.

This project comes from a simple but heartfelt desire — to say thank you to parents.

To remind them that what they are doing matters.

That their sacrifices are seen.

That their love is shaping the future in ways that truly matter.

As the first step, we will be giving away 300 custom “Family First” hats in person across Canada — Each hat is a small symbol of appreciation, a reminder to every mom and dad that they are valued, that they are not alone, and that their commitment to their family makes a difference every single day.

Because behind every strong child is a parent who never gave up.

Behind every strong family is love, sacrifice, and faithfulness.

We believe strong families build strong communities.

And strong communities begin with parents who choose — every day — to put family first.
