Each morning the overnight shelters close their doors at 7:00am.  Families are put out on the street with their children and there is no place for them to go.

We want to create a families only day shelter so that no child will be left out in the bitter cold or sweltering heat of the day.  We will have cribs so babies can take naps and activities for toddlers.  We will have computers for teenagers to complete their homework and volunteers to help with tutoring. 

Our shelter will be open when the overnight shelters are closed, providing a much needed service where their was once a huge gap.
